About Us
The roots of Worlds Images go back to 1994, when Bernd Bieder first found his way into the streets of Saigon. It was there that his first camera became a companion, and a connection between travel and photography began to take shape.
Over the years, this led to many journeys across Asia, Africa, and Latin America – and far beyond. Each of these journeys was at once encounter, experience, and a sense of wonder. Traces of it can still be found in the images today.
Today, Bernd Bieder lives with his family in the Spreewald, just south of Berlin. His wife Katja brings her own story: for more than two decades, she traveled the world as a flight attendant.
What connects them is a shared appreciation for genuine experiences – for the beauty of nature as much as for the small and large moments of life, and for shaping and capturing them through the lens.
